Depending on your answer, we might recommend different destinations. Going to the wrong place in the wrong time could ruin your experience and scare you away from sailing forever.
Do you want to explore Caribbean islands and beaches? Maybe the exotic Seychelles? Or maybe the historic sites of Greece are more to your liking? Let us know and we will recommend the best places to visit in your preferred area and season.
Depending on the season, some destinations will be more enjoyable than others. Travelling to the wrong place in the wrong time can set you up for a bad experience. We have the knowledge and the networks to find the best possible places to visit at any time of the year, with the highest chances of good weather and calm waters.
This is a controversial topic. Based on our experience a week of sailing can be much more cost effective than a comparable week in a hotel or resort in the same area. With your boat, you won’t have to spend additional money on reaching the most sought after spots, and you also end up spending less on unnecessary things.
A week of sailing can be as cheap as €3900 for a boat that can host up to 6 people, so only €650 per person. Prices can climb up to €15.000 for a large catamaran in a sought after summer destination, with a capacity of 10-12 people – still less than €1500 per person. Either way, we will do our best to find the best options for your budget!
The type of boat you choose will probably have the largest impact on your adventure. Monohulls are amazing to truly experience sailing: you will feel truly connected to the sea and feel every wave on your adventure. However, many people prefer catamarans for their leisure trip. You will have more space for sunbathing and fun, and the boat will be much more stable at all times. Perfect for first time sailors and pleasure seekers!
For us, sailing is not just about being on the water for a full week. Exploring local towns, famous sites, national parks, hiking, snorkelling, and even scuba diving are all part of the fun. Based on your preferences, we can guide you to find the perfect destination that can cater to your dreams.

I recently had the pleasure of sailing with Martin on a week-long catamaran trip around Tenerife and La Gomera in December. It was my first sailing trip and the experience was fantastic — Martin was excellent at leading the group, making us feel comfortable, and providing informative explanations throughout the journey. During our trip, we explored beautiful destinations, including a memorable hike on La Gomera. We also enjoyed cooking onboard and had fun trying to catch some fish. The captain kindly taught us how to assist with handling the boat, including basic maneuvers like docking, which made us feel safe and involved. Overall, it was a wonderful adventure filled with great scenery, activities, and learning. I highly recommend Captain Martin for anyone looking for a well-organized and enjoyable sailing experience.

The Seychelles Tour was my third time on a catamaran with Martin, and yet it still felt like the first. Seeing the Seychelles from the water is simply magical, everything looks so different from the boat. Freer, calmer, and more alive. What made this trip truly special was Martin, our captain Ayyy Aaay!! 🙂 With so much calmness, skill, and heart, he guided us through unforgettable days at sea. Martin organized the perfect sailing trip in the Aeolian islands of Sicily where we visited all (!) Aeolian islands, hiked 4 mountains incl. 2 active volcanos in a week, had amazing food on board & on land (because you can't miss it in Sicily) and had lots of fun spending time together! Martin gathered a wonderful group of people who made a great team and got very close during the week. Despite of how much we actually managed to do in a week, I never felt rushed, pushed or uncomfortable: Martin made sure all needs & desires of the crew were looked after, all decisions about our activities were discussed as a team - and we always managed to create a solution which worked well for each of us. Martin has a very special - caring & fun, but also firm & professional - style of being a captain, which I truly appreciated after sailing with various captains out there.
