Our most popular trip of the year is ON again! Join us on this unforgettable adventure in the Seychelles, one of our planets truly magical jewels. It’s a place that really looks like the photos and postcards. Silky smooth white sand beaches, clear emerald water, lush jungle and a vibrant fauna await. Starting in Mahé, we will explore the Inner Seychelles – Praslin, Curiouse, La Digue, and some small uninhabited islets like the famous Coco island. With perfect warm weather year round, this is a truly magical winter escape for adventure and leisure lovers.
Sailing itineraries depend heavily on weather conditions. We always have plans A, B, C, and D, and discuss the upcoming days with the crew to ensure everyone is aligned. This is YOUR trip, and we want you to have the best experience possible!
Board at Eden Island Marina by midday, settle into cabins, and head to Victoria Market for provisions and local spices. Evening includes a safety briefing with the skipper on essentials like life jackets and protocols.
Start with a tender to Mahé’s lush interior for a hike to Port Launay’s cascading waterfall, where cool waters tumble into natural pools surrounded by ancient granite boulders—perfect for a refreshing swim in this verdant rainforest setting. Explore the Spice Garden (Jardin du Roi), a lush natural park alive with towering vanilla orchids, aromatic cinnamon trees, and clusters of nutmeg, offering a guided tour through shaded paths with opportunities to taste exotic herbal teas and ripe tropical fruits.
Sail to Curieuse, a protected nature reserve fringed by mangroves and pristine shores. Follow a guided path through tangled mangrove forests to encounter the island’s population of Aldabra giant tortoises—massive, centuries-old creatures that roam freely across the terrain; interact gently by feeding them fresh pumpkin leaves under ranger supervision. Snorkel the colorful fringing reef just offshore, alive with schools of parrotfish, angelfish, and occasional sea turtles gliding through the shallows.
Tender ashore for a hike into Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage palm forest where colossal endemic Coco de Mer trees—famous for producing the world’s largest seeds—arch overhead like prehistoric sentinels, their fronds filtering sunlight onto the forest floor; listen for the calls of rare black parrots flitting through the canopy in this ancient, otherworldly grove. Then sail along the coast to Anse Georgette, a secluded crescent beach ranked among the world’s most beautiful, with its fine white sands curving into emerald lagoons framed by rugged granite outcrops—ideal for swimming in gin-clear waters.
Sail to car-free La Digue, a tranquil island laced with quiet lanes, where you rent bikes to pedal along flat, scenic coastal paths winding through coconut groves. Pass by Anse Source d’Argent, an iconic stretch of shoreline where massive, wind-sculpted granite boulders rise dramatically from the sand, creating sheltered coves and photogenic backdrops amid gently lapping waves and swaying palms. Unwind at Grand Anse, a long arc of untouched beach backed by casuarina trees, where you can rent paddleboards to glide over the reef or simply lounge in the shade.
Sail to Coco Island, a tiny uninhabited atoll ringed by brilliant white sands and thriving coral gardens that shelter graceful sea turtles, eagle rays, and vibrant anemones— a remote haven for uninterrupted snorkeling and diving amid the underwater kaleidoscope.
Sail into Eden Island by noon, with time ashore to wander the bustling stalls of Victoria, the world’s smallest capital, brimming with colorful markets, colonial architecture, and street vendors hawking fresh fruits and handicrafts.
Breakfast until 8 AM, with checkout by 9 AM.

We went to Greece in the Ionian see, and I must admit that was one of the best experiences in my life, with very special people, friends, amazing moments, nature, lot of adventures and beautiful cities we visited. Is something that I always encourage people to do at least once in their life. Martin is the best captain ever, with lot of experience and open to talk, to explain and to listen. 10000% recommend sailing with Martin !!

Canaries, December 2024
I recently had the pleasure of sailing with Martin on a week-long catamaran trip around Tenerife and La Gomera in December. It was my first sailing trip and the experience was fantastic — Martin was excellent at leading the group, making us feel comfortable, and providing informative explanations throughout the journey. During our trip, we explored beautiful destinations, including a memorable hike on La Gomera. We also enjoyed cooking onboard and had fun trying to catch some fish. The captain kindly taught us how to assist with handling the boat, including basic maneuvers like docking, which made us feel safe and involved. Overall, it was a wonderful adventure filled with great scenery, activities, and learning. I highly recommend Captain Martin for anyone looking for a well-organized and enjoyable sailing experience.

Seychelles, January 2025
The Seychelles Tour was my third time on a catamaran with Martin, and yet it still felt like the first. Seeing the Seychelles from the water is simply magical, everything looks so different from the boat. Freer, calmer, and more alive. What made this trip truly special was Martin, our captain Ayyy Aaay!! 🙂 With so much calmness, skill, and heart, he guided us through unforgettable days at sea. We learned how to sail, cooked together, laughed, even fished Mahi Mahi, and simply enjoyed life. It didn’t just feel like a holiday – it felt like home on the ocean. Like a little family. Thank you, Martin, for this incredible experience. For your patience, your knowledge, your kindness and for showing me how beautiful it is to sail with you! I can’t wait for our next adventure together at sea. ⛵❤️

Sicily, May 2025
Last week’s sailing adventure with Martin at Team Spirit Sailing was nothing short of cinematic. From the very first briefing, Martin’s clarity about our voyage goals felt like the opening scene of an epic tale—but he also had this chameleon-like knack for adapting to each of us, whether we craved high-octane sailing thrills, quiet moments with a book, or impromptu siestas under the sun. Every island he steered us to was Instagram-worthy, but it was the meals that stole the show: inventive dishes that dared us to taste flavors we never knew existed. And Sicily… oh, Sicily! It’s like time stood still in the ’90s, with its laid-back hustle, architectural decay, and a soul-soothing atmosphere that wrapped around me like a warm embrace. If you’re hunting for a host who’s part captain, part gourmet chef, and 100% legend, look no further than Martin Sealife. Bravo, Martin—thank you for every unforgettable moment.

Martin organized the perfect sailing trip in the Aeolian islands of Sicily where we visited all (!) Aeolian islands, hiked 4 mountains incl. 2 active volcanos in a week, had amazing food on board & on land (because you can't miss it in Sicily) and had lots of fun spending time together! Martin gathered a wonderful group of people who made a great team and got very close during the week. Despite of how much we actually managed to do in a week, I never felt rushed, pushed or uncomfortable: Martin made sure all needs & desires of the crew were looked after, all decisions about our activities were discussed as a team - and we always managed to create a solution which worked well for each of us. Martin has a very special - caring & fun, but also firm & professional - style of being a captain, which I truly appreciated after sailing with various captains out there. Thanks so much to Team Spirit Sailing for the amazing week! I'll definitely be back!

Impressive tour around Aeolian Islands, with friendly and nice people. The trip organization was excellent, a perfect mix among sea, relax and nature. Our skipper, Martin, was great and very kind with us, he ensured us a safe and comfortable trip.

Seychelles, March 2024
We had an incredible trip sailing through the Seychelles, and much of that was thanks to our captain Martin. He struck the perfect balance between professionalism and fun. Always responsible and calm, he handled the catamaran with clear expertise, making us feel safe and well cared for at all times. At the same time, Martin brought great energy to the journey. Fun, positive, engaging, and full of stories. He knew the best spots for snorkeling, swimming, and anchoring, and his local knowledge added so much depth to the experience. His passion for sailing and the islands was contagious. We made lots of new friends and memories. A truly unforgettable trip. Highly recommend.

I rarely leave reviews, but Martin deserves one. Really had a wonderful time with him. He is the perfect combination of professional and fun, and it doesn't hurt that he's got a good sense of humour, too. I felt safe with him at all times and I enjoyed every moment. He also let me practise skippering the boat and was always very patient when explaining. Thank you, Martin. This won't be the last time I sail with you!

Seychelles, March 2024
I went on an unforgettable sailing trip with captain Martin in the Seychelles. The whole experience was amazing, from beginning to end. Our captain was very professional, knowledgeable and most of all very friendly! The atmosphere on board was amazing and I made some new friends for life!

This is one of the most common questions we receive, so let's break it down:
The amazing thing about sailing is that you can join as a complete newcomer. Over the course of the week you will have the opportunity to learn and to contribute in many other ways to a successful sailing adventure. Sailing relies on teamwork, and your friendly skipper will show you exactly how you can support him during sailing.
We usually have a nice breakfast together, either on the boat or in a café if there is one nearby. After that, we set sail and go to a new location to explore, usually a wild bay or small town with something unique. After this lunch break, we set sail to our final stop, where we will spend the night. Of course, we always swim and snorkel if possible!
We always charter modern, well equipped boats, no older than 5 years. We charter from reputable companies to make sure there are no unwanted surprises. Queeky doors? Toilets not working? Funny smell in the bathroom? Not on our trips! We charter either catamarans or sailing yachts, also called monohulls. Catamarans always have at least four double cabins, perfect for 8 people plus skipper. Monohulls have 3-5 cabins, depending on the size, for up to 10 people.
The boats always have double cabins for double occupancy. Since we only charter new, modern boats, you will have a lot of comfort! Large beds, plenty of storage, windows, and USB charging sockets are commonly found in every yacht.
Absolutely! This is part of our trips! Sailing relies very heavily on teamwork, and everyone will have the opportunity to try different tasks on board.
You don't need anything special. Depending on the trip and destination we will recommend different clothing for the trip to protect you from the sun and the elements. Having a sunhat is nice, and if you want to participate in sailing tasks then definitely bring some sailing gloves (gardening gloves do the job fine too, by the way). We will share a list of recommended items before every trip!
Of course! It may surprise you, but most of our adventurers are usually solo travellers from around the world. This means you will have the chance to meet cool, like minded people on board!
These trips are usually super chill, with some periods of activity. We always try to include a variety of fun experiences and activities. Depending on the destination we can go on beautiful hikes, see national parks, active volcanoes, wildlife, thermal springs, waterfalls, marine life, explore local towns, restaurants, and of course swim, snorkel, SUP board.
Absolutely not! The best plan for sailing is always a flexible plan. We will always arrive well prepared for our adventure, having done a lot of research of our destination so we can provide you with plenty of fun and a diverse experience during the week. Some companies like to follow a rigid program, but that's NOT US!
We like to sit down with the crew every day and discuss the plans. This means you will always have the opportunity to proactively shape your own adventure! Do we want to go to a marina, or have a night in a wild bay? Hiking, or more snorkelling? Dinner on the boat or in a restaurant? Whenever possible, we will give you the options and the opportunity to be proactive.
We always conduct interviews with the people interested in joining. This is to ensure that we have like-minded people on board, ideally from a similar demographic. We don't care that much about age, occupation or else, what matter to us is that you come aboard with the spirit for adventure, teamwork and exploration!
Safety is our Nr.1 priority on our trips. We always share a Safety Pre-Briefing document with you before the trip with a lot of useful information. On day zero, you will also receive an in-person safety briefing from the skipper. You will learn about the risks and hazards on the yacht, and how to avoid them.
